Welcome to Dental Tales! I’m Dr. Akhila, and my path to becoming a dentist has been one of persistence, growth, and passion. Though I was drawn to mathematics early on, my dream was always to become a doctor. After completing my tenth grade, I pursued BiPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) with the goal of entering medicine. Adjusting to new surroundings as an introvert was challenging, and after two unsuccessful attempts at securing a medical seat, I refused to give up. My determination paid off on the third try when I began my dental studies at Panineeya Dental College in Hyderabad in 2017. The demanding coursework, patient interactions, and practical training shaped my confidence and skill—despite a one-year delay in graduation due to COVID-19.
Dental Tales marks a new chapter in my journey, created with immense support from my brother.
